EvilCouch: So, 4th edition D&D is kind of like using your d20 to shoot people: Fast, crazy, fun, and dangerous. The system's a lot more fair and a lot more fun that I think it's ever been, at least as far as combat and other confrontational encounters go. There's so much more focus on the minutia of the game now, that makes the game really modular, newbie friendly and potentially addictive. I think the last time I was this hyped about D&D, I was about 6 and completely fucking bewildered that there were dice that did were not cubes.
